Party in the front, out-of-control festival in the rear: the Transition Patrol Alloy NX Complete Mountain Bike has gone mullet, and it's the perfect platform for this improved wheel trend. The Patrol is known as the life of the party, as long as we're talking about rowdy bashes that elicit response from the authorities - it'll stay quiet during civilized cocktail affairs but it much prefers the after party. As always, this Patrol is built to be ridden hard. In this aluminum / SRAM NX build, it's one for all-out downhill attack, leading the train down new sections, and straight up getting wild.
GiddyUp 2.0HH Suspension – Building upon the success of Transition's original GiddyUp suspension design, the new GiddyUp 2.0HH system has been refined for the modern two-wheel cowboy delivering a slightly firmer feel for more efficient pedaling, as well as more progressive travel that provides that extra little bit of bottom-out support when needed.
Speed Balanced Geometry – SBG ensures the bike maintains low speed agility, front wheel traction, and proper rider weight balance while actually increasing confidence in steep terrain and at high speeds. With SBG, a slacker head tube angle is combined with an all new reduced offset fork standard, preventing the front wheel from being too far in front of the rider. This improves front to rear weight distribution on the bike, which is often out of balance on long and slack bikes. One of SBG's greatest benefits is that it creates a confident steering feel that adapts to wheel speed. More stability when going fast, more agility on technical slow speed maneuvering as well as improved traction, control and confidence for any skill level of rider.
Fox Float X Performance Rear Shock – Designed specifically to meet the demands of aggressive trail riders, the new Float X combines sophisticated damping and fade free performance with incredible light weight and outstanding structural integrity.
Shock Adjustments – Air Spring Pressure / 2-Position Open/Firm Lever / Rebound
Frame Protection – Fully integrated, flush-mounted rubber frame protection on the chainstay and downtube keep your bike rides quiet and your frame safe from damage.
Badass Bearings – EnduroMAX suspension pivot specific bearings come in standard sizes that are readily available worldwide.
Pivot Technology – Collet main pivot technology improves rear end stiffness and keeps hardware tight. Bearing shields prevent main pivot contamination from water.
Threaded Bottom Bracket – A standard 73mm threaded bottom bracket shell makes crankset maintenance hassle-free and prevents unwanted pressfit BB noises.
Tire Clearance – Ample clearance for mud and tires up to 2.6" wide.
User Friendly Cable Routing – To simplify maintenance and keep your bike noise free, the rear derailleur cable is routed through guide tubes in the front triangle and chainstay.
Water Bottle Compatibility – Your water bottle is kept clean inside the front triangle so you can keep hydrated without worrying about mud making it to your mouth.
Size Specific Chainstays – The Patrol has two size specific chainstay lengths to provide balanced handling and rider weight distribution across the range of sizes.
Geo Adjust Chip – Change the attitude of the bike with a simple flip of a chip. High and Low settings give you two very usable geo settings to suit your riding style: High is comparable to most other companies' low settings so there's a high shred warning in effect!
Gear Accessory Mount – An underside top-tube accessory mount allows you to carry a spare tube or other goodies safely on your frame.
Press In Headset – The ZS44/ZS56 press in headset fives you the freedom to use angle adjust headsets if you feel the need to make your bike a touch slacker or steeper.
Dual Crown Fork Compatible
12 x 148mm Boost Rear End
Rattle-Free Cable Routing
Marzocchi Bomber Z1 – The Z1 is freedom from the status quo. Step outside enduro's obsession with counting seconds and go have some fun in the woods. The Z1 is an aggressive all-mountain and enduro fork with a different viewpoint for riders' priorities. Everyone wants suspension performance that's smooth as butter with great traction and control, and that's where the Z1 shines. After that, the Z1 departs from industry norms. More time fiddling with adjustments means less time shredding the trails.
Fork Adjustments – Air Spring Pressure / Compression Sweep (open to lockout) / Rebound
SRAM NX Eagle – NX Eagle is your partner for all rides, all the time, all day. Long days, quick rides and everything in-between, NX Eagle is the ecosystem at its best. With the all new 520% range, all new colorways and seamless compatibility with the rest of the ecosystem, NX Eagle is there to maximize the potential of your ride experience.
SRAM Centerline Rotor – The Centerline rotor was designed to keep the center of friction consistent throughout rotation, thereby minimizing vibration, offering consistent performance and a quiet ride.
SRAM Code R – With Code, SRAM tackled the problem of all-or-nothing, on/off braking by building an authoritative 4-piston caliper and expanding the PiggyBack reservoir, giving Code fistfuls of power. Then, they added a range of contact adjustments and pads, allowing you to determine how and when you dispense of that power. They’re your brakes. Tune them just right.
Mixed Wheel Sizing – The best of both worlds: 29er rollover and traction up front, 27.5" quickness and maneuverability out back.
Stans Flow D – The Flow D was designed to live up to the quality you’ve come to expect from any product that bears the Flow name. Found as OE on builds from select brands, the Flow D is a value-driven all-mountain rim designed to handle anything you can throw at it. The 29mm internal width is optimized for 2.35”-2.80” tires.

The sophisticated intermediate profile is combined with the best compounds and construction, pushing the limits to surprising levels.
