The Santa Cruz Bicycles Bronson C S Complete Mountain Bike is always up for a ride. The any- and everywhere Bronson extends its genre-spanning reach even further, making everything it touches more fun. With a 29er leading the way, it has mindblowing grip and smooth rollover juice, while the 27.5" rear wheel helps maintain the maneuverability and playful ride that makes it Santa Cruz's best selling bike - poppy and as loose as you like. This GX build on Carbon is the sweet spot of durability and performance, and there's not a foul word to say about it. Mountain biking still rules, and the Bronson is one of the reasons why.
Carbon C Frame – A minimal weight gain of approximately 250 - 280 grams (0.6 lbs) for the C frame over the CC due to the different grade of carbon used. Whether you're riding a carbon CC or C frame, you get exactly the same legendary strength and stiffness because Santa Cruz uses exactly the same manufacturing facility and techniques.
Lower-Link Mounted VPP® Suspension – VPP is based on the patented principle of having two short links rotating in opposite directions. This system provides huge design flexibility, allowing Santa Cruz to manipulate shock rates to the intended purpose and character of each model; from short travel endurance bikes to World Championship winning DH machines. This redesign mounts the shock lower on the bike, making for an even better ride quality.
RockShox Super Deluxe Select+ Rear Shock – Super Deluxe Select+ is built for the latest breed of hard hitting enduro and trail bikes. Offering the ride control you need paired with a user-friendly threshold adjustment all rolled into a great high performance-to-value package. They even threw in Maxima Plush fluid to reduce friction and silence noise.
Shock Adjustments – Separate and Independent Open / Threshold Positions, Air Spring Pressure, External Rebound
Bottle Cage Mount – Within the front triangle, fits piggyback shocks.
27.5 / 27.5+ Wheel Clearances – Clearance for up to 2.8-inch tires.

SRAM GX Eagle™ – SRAM Eagle™ drivetrains are the only 1x drivetrains that are fully system engineered for optimal performance. Eagle™ drivetrains are designed, tested and proven to deliver the lightest, highest-performing, most durable systems for all riders on any trail. Eagle™ technology provides an expanded, optimum, gear range that allows you to realize your bike's potential beyond where it has ever been. SRAM Code R Brakeset – Sleek, easy to use, yet immensely powerful. Code R packs a winning punch with a reliable DirectLink™ lever mated to Code’s new oversized four-piston caliper. SRAM’s signature ergonomics are supplemented by the tool-free reach adjust for a fit to each riders’ needs, to unleash Code’s superior braking power, consistency and modulation.
Avid CenterLine Rotors – The new CenterLine Rotor was designed to keep the center of friction consistent throughout rotation thereby minimizing vibration offering consistent performance and a quiet ride.
Race Face AR Offset 30 Rims Laced to DT Swiss 370 Hubs – Tough hubs connected to light and burly aluminum rims--this is a trail-ripping setup that's ready to absorb all the trail action you see. With great feel and even better durability, these wheels won't disappoint.
Maxxis Minion DHF Front Tire – The Minion DHF was designed for the often loose and muddy conditions of aggressive all-mountain terrain. The DHF incorporates ramped knobs for low rolling resistance and channel-cut knobs to increase gripping edges, giving straight-line control and precise cornering.
Maxxis Minion DHR II Rear Tire – A real rider's tire choice, these Minions bring a mix of rolling resistance, wear, and performance that can't be beat.
Mixed Wheel Sizing (S-XL Sizes) – The mixed "mullet" wheel sizing of top level racers has trickled down to the rest of us: with a 29" wheel up front for maximum grip and rollover clearance, you'll have a smoother and more solid stance through rough stuff and turns. The smaller 27.5" rear wheel helps you initiate those turns, while keeping the rear end maneuverable and out of your shorts.
