A Basque army knife of a bike, the Orbea Rallon M20 Complete Mountain Bike comes roaring out of the Pyrenees ready for action. Orbea has made some small but not insignificant tweaks to these carbon enduro race bikes: the angles are a bit more aggressive, for better stability and confidence at ridiculous speeds, and they've added internal frame storage (and included a tool kit too!). This takes the Rallon from the super fast category and plants it firmly in the super duper fast camp. With Fox suspension and Shimano parts everywhere, this is as dependable as it is capable. The Rallon is an enduro phenom that'll nom-nom on all the crunchy terrain your trails can serve up, hungry for more.
Full Carbon Fiber OMR Frame – Orbea Monocoque Race (OMR) fames add high modulus and high strength fibers to a standard layup to improve stiffness-to-weight ratios. Bladder molding with EPS forms and PU headtube and bottom bracket inserts stop wrinkling and unconformities in critical zones, allowing less carbon to be used while maintaining strength
Fox Float X Performance Rear Shock – Designed specifically to meet the demands of aggressive trail riders, the new Float X combines sophisticated damping and fade free performance with incredible light weight and outstanding structural integrity.
Shock Adjustments – Air Spring Pressure / 2-Position Open and Firm Compression Modes / Rebound
Pure Enduro Geometry – Every measurement and angle on this frame is aimed at enduro racing: it has a slacker head tube angle, long wheelbase, and long cockpit for stability. The low bottom bracket lends itself to natural cornering, and the short seat tube is steep for proper positioning while pedaling and descending.
LOCKR Frame Storage – In the downtube LOCKR zone are two sealed bags, with tube, tire levers and space for two C02 cartridges. Additionally the main pivot and rear axle are filled with cleverly designed tools, held securely with magnets. With a tube, tire repair, tube, hex keys from 3 to 6mm and a T25, all held securely in space, Rallon is fully equipped.
Internal Cable Routing – Internal Cable Routing is carefully guided along the best path with no rub or rattle, and is optimized for both traditional and electronic shifting systems
Threaded Bottom Bracket
Fox 38 Performance – Hitting new levels of stiffness-to-weight, the ultimate metric in the bike world, the new 38 is the beefiest single crown fork Fox has ever made. It's plush, lightweight, and tuneable with the proven GRIP damper.
Fork Adjustments – Air Spring Pressure / Open, Medium, Firm Compression Settings with Intermediate Micro-Adjustments / Low Speed Rebound (10 Clicks)
Shimano SLX – Shimano’s SLX 12-speed M7100 groupset is everything you need with nothing you don’t. Featuring the trickle down technology and benefits of XT and XTR groupsets, SLX offers consistent and reliable high performance, all at a lower price. Smooth and precise shifting. Firm and predictable braking. Good looking and easy to maintain. SLX is ready to go wherever and whenever you want, whether it’s an all-day epic, the local cross country race, or a post-work ride with your buddies. It won’t let you down.
Shimano Deore M6120 – These 4-piston brakes deliver high stopping power in all conditions, and have a quick piston retraction time to aid in modulation. They're easy to set up, easy to maintain, and easy to bleed.
Shimano Ice Tech Rotors
Race Face AR 30 – All-around rad AR wheels are slightly tweaked with an new asymmetrical profile. Fully dialed to be stiffer, stronger and optimally balanced, these crazy-versatile rims come in every width imaginable to cover XC to plus bikes and everything in between.
Maxxis Minion DHF Front Tire – With a tread design that deftly balances rolling speed with braking and cornering traction, it's hard to find fault with the Minion DHF. That's probably why it's one of the most imitated tires in mountain biking. Whether riding local trails, a backcountry epic, racing enduro or World Cup downhill, there's a Minion DHF for you.
Maxxis Minion DHR II Rear Tire – With side knobs borrowed from the legendary Minion DHF, but widened to provide more support, the DHR II corners like no other. The center tread features ramped leading edges to improve acceleration and sipes to create a smooth transition when leaning the bike. Paddle-like knobs on the center tread dig in under hard braking and help keep the bike under control. Pair it with a Minion DHF up front for the ultimate aggressive trail riding tire combo!
