Featuring everything you need for a productive search and rescue, the Arva Neo BT Pro Avalanche Beacon goes above and beyond send and receive to make your life easier. Its signature Bluetooth function connects to the Arva App, and it features both digital and manual modes. Group check and a four victim display marking system helps when a big group is present, and standby mode keeps your device on and ready if you have to shovel. No one wants to be involved in an avalanche, but you need to be prepared. The Arva Neo BT Pro Avalanche Beacon ensures you have the tools to act when mother nature says "not today."
Backlit Screen – For optimum contrast in all lighting conditions.
Automatic Revert to Transmit – During a search, in the event of a secondary avalanche, the return to transmit function allows the device to automatically switch back to transmit mode. This switch is activated either by timer after a certain period of time of user inactivity, or by motion detector after a certain amount of time where the device has not moved. Configure these timeframes in your beacon’s settings menu.
Dynamic Interference Management – Interference management maximizes the device’s performance in search mode in an environment «overrun» by electromagnetic interference. To accomplish this, the device in search mode automatically reduces the bandwidth and ignores all other frequencies to focus solely on the beacon being tracked. This function can be deactivated by the user.
Marking Function – Identify victims already located; 4-victim display shows “”+”” beyond 4 victims.
Auto-Test Mode – Allows the device to diagnose whether its main functions are operating correctly.
U-Turn Alarm Lets the Rescuer Know They are Heading in the Wrong Direction
Standby Mode Lets the User Keep Their Device Switched on While Shoveling
Scrolling Function Lets you Choose Which Victim to Search For
Group Check
3 Antennas – Improve detection chances in signal search and precision in fine search.
Digital Signal Processing
Bluetooth Technology for Connectivity with the ARVA App
Analog Mode with Automatic Calibration
Battery Life in Transmit Mode – 350 hrs with alkaline batteries / 450 hrs with lithium batteries
Beacons Require Training – Wearing an avalanche beacon is no guarantee of safety in avalanche terrain. We recommend that backcountry travelers take an AIARE Level One class or the equivalent, and practice the skills they learn there regularly with their partners.
