Scarpa has decided "hybrid" boots are here to stay and they want in on the plunder. That means they are bringing their considerable expertise to the task of producing the Scarpa Quattro SL Alpine Touring Ski Boots. Where the best-selling touring boot in the world, the Maestrale RS, wouldn't work with many alpine bindings, the Quattro SL has GripWalk ISO 23223 soles and slips right into any GripWalk binding. Performance is beefed up too, with a full 4-buckle design and a Carbon Core-reinforced Pebax R-New® shell and cuff, and at 1430 grams in a 26.5/27.0 this boot will go up the hill just fine.
