For the kid who's skiing everything on the mountain and nipping at your heels in the sidecountry, there's the K2 Mindbender Team Jr Alpine Touring Ski Boots. With a flex of between 80 and 90 depending on size, a full TPU Powerlite build and a Powerlock Spine straight off the adult Mindbenders, there's nowhere they can't go. This is a real tech-compatible touring boot as well, so if you lean toward the backcountry and the offspring are ready for the leap, you can use a full tech touring setup, too.
