Fischer has answered the call with the new Fischer Ranger Pro 130 GW DYN Alpine Touring Ski Boots, essentially a burly 130 flex version of their Grilamid Ranger 130 but built with Thermoplastic Polyurethane for a more progressive and predictable flex pattern. This is about as close as you're going to get to true alpine boot performance with a decent walk mode, and the "Cola" colorway rocks pretty hard, too.
