Ever wonder how the pros get on top of those burly backcountry lines with Pivots on their skis? They have the Cast Touring Freetour 2.0 Pivot 18 Alpine Touring Ski Bindings to thank. With little more than an interchangeable tech toe and a few risers, these bindings transform a regular pair of Pivots into a skin-track ready setup capable of getting you into the high alpine. If your riding demands absolute confidence in your bindings, these guarantee best-in-class performance.
Aluminum Toe Piece – Featuring 45mm of elastic travel and 180⁰ multi-directional release, the all-metal toe piece offers maximum power, precision, and durability across all disciplines, from the Alpine World Cup to Freestyle, Freeride and Moguls.
Simple Changeout Interface – A simple and bomber base plate allows you to swap the tech toe and alpine toe in a matter of seconds while remaining fully secure.
Ski Carmpon Compatible – The crampon clip is compatible with all Dynafit style ski crampons.
Turntable Heel – The Pivot's turntable heel allows for rotational release around the tibial axis. This significantly reduces the chance of lower leg injuries, something most tech bindings fail to achieve.
Heel Assembly – The Freetour’s compact heel assembly mounts in two holes positioned in front of the heel piece. It includes a brake lock and two climbing bails at flat, 8 degree, or 12 degree climbing modes.
Climbing Risers – 0°, 8°, 12°
Includes AFDs Compatible with Gripwalk, Alpine 5355 and Touring 9523 Norms
Weight – 1340g Alpine / 1000g Touring
Tech Freedom – Super light tech toe reduces touring weight to a minimum while maximizing efficiency. Replacing the Freetour Pivot alpine toe with the tech toe reduces the overall weight to just 1000 grams per ski.
Alpine Performance – The Freetour Kit maintains all of the reliability and performance of the most trusted alpine binding in skiing. Full alpine release and retention characteristics provide unmatched safety and durability.
Includes Look Pivot 18 Ski Bindings – It is hard to understate the performance benefits of the Look Pivot binding. With significant elastic travel, the fastest recentering, a short mounting zone, and multidirectional release, the Pivot creates the best ski feel of any binding.
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
