Arrive in Hood River in the late afternoon. Get checked into the Historic Hood River Hotel and meet and greet in the lobby before heading to pFriem brewery. We will have a brief orientation and get to know each other over a brewery tour, beer tasting and dinner.

Hood River / Mt Hood
We will get the day started with breakfast at Kickstand Coffee and a tour of 10 Speed Roastery. We will then head over to Mountain View Cycles to get mountain bikes and shuttle to Mt Hood National Forest, 44 Trails for the day. Trail side lunch will be provided. We will end our day at Mountain View Orchards and Grateful Vineyards with an orchard and winery tour and wine tasting. Hors-devours will be served. After happy hour at the winery you will shuttle back to Hood River and the evening will be yours to explore town, enjoy local eateries and relax.

Hood River Area
Wake up to breakfast at River Daze followed by a stand up paddle board lesson with optional stand up paddle yoga on the Columbia River. Today’s mountain bike adventure will take us to Post Canyon where we will do two shuttled rides with varying distances and an option to head back to Hood River during the second ride for other optional activities. Lunch will be served trail side from Taqueria Rinconcito Express. Afternoon will allow for free time in Hood River where you can stroll the shops, opt in for an optional massage or just relax. Hop on e-bikes in the late afternoon and enjoy the leisurely ride to Mosier to enjoy pizza and cider.

Morning activities, depart Hood River
Breakfast will be served at Hood River Hotels in house restaurant Broder Ost. Our last mountain biking adventure takes on a ride that boasts big views and terrain that’s sure to put a smile on everyone’s face. We will be back at the hotel in time for checkout and sack lunches will be provided before we send you home.

Located in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge, Hood River Oregon is often regarded as one of the most idyllic spots in the world. With rolling hills of vineyards, fruit farms, and epic mountain views, the Columbia Gorge is also a mecca for outdoor activities. Top notch mountain and road biking opportunities exist all around, but Hood River is also known for other activities that take advantage of the wind, water and mountainous terrain that surrounds you. In just a short radius of this central location, you can find yourself in entirely different climates, from dry desert to lush rainforest, and high alpine.
Below is a list of recommended equipment for the mountain biking portion of your adventure. In addition to what you’ll need for daily rides, bring casual clothing, swimwear, and footwear for other activities as well as evenings out on the town. We recommend bringing layers and a rain jacket in case of rain or cooler temps.
For daily rides, we recommend wearing technical clothing (polypro, merino wool, etc) and please no cotton.

Is my trip guaranteed to run?
Please note this trip requires a minimum of 4 guests in order to operate. Please do not make travel arrangements until you have received confirmation that your trip will run.
What are the accommodations like?
You’ll spend 3 nights at the Historic Hood River Hotel. On the National Register of Historic Places the Hood River Hotel is Hood River’s oldest and most beloved vintage hotels. Located in the center of downtown, they are your base camp for year round adventure, top restaurants, breweries, wineries, and the world famous fruit loop.
I’m a solo traveler. Can I upgrade to my own room?
Singles may share a room with another solo traveler, stay in the bunk room for the same price, or pay an additional fee for a single room. Price fluctuates depending on room rates.
What skill/experience level is required for this trip?
We recommend this trip for intermediate to advanced riders.
What gear should I bring?

Are rentals available?
Yes, rental gear is available and can be rented directly through Mountain View Cycles, NW Excursions sister company.
What if I need to cancel?
evo will refer to NW Excursions’ cancellation policy. Cancellations must be received in writing. Cancellation fees, if any, will be determined with reference to the date on which notice of cancellation is received and are expressed as a percentage of the total price paid for the cancelled Tour:
Cancellation Made Within 30 days prior to Departure Date: Non-refundable.
31-44 Days Prior to Departure Date: 50% of total purchase amount can be refunded.
45 or more Days Prior to Departure Date 100% of total purchase amount can be refunded.
When and how do I meet up with the group?
Group meet and greet will take place at Historic Hood River Hotel at 102 Oak St, Hood River, OR 97031. Exact meeting time will be provided upon booking confirmation.
What will the food be like?
Local and delicious, with plentiful options. Participants will specify desired meals from restaurant menus and dietary restrictions can be accommodated.
What is the maximum number of guests on the trip?
There is a maximum of 10 guests for this course.
Is there a minimum age required for this trip?
We will accept participants 14 years or older, if they are accompanied by a legal guardian.
