Sun Valley, Idaho

Skiers and snowboarders have long held Sun Valley as an epicenter of their sports. In the winter, the area is known for it's great rolling terrain and bountiful sunshine. In the summer, that sun sticks around and the snow gives way to some epic rides as the trails wind beyond the ski area high into the surrounding mountain ranges. The riding here is flowy and fun, with a distinct backcountry feel.

Off the mountain, Sun Valley is a quaint mountain town. There are just enough dining and drinking options to keep you full and happy throughout your trip, ranging from upscale resort fare to old-school mountain town dives. It may not be the first destination that comes to mind when planning a bucket list mountain bike trip, but when you dig a little deeper, Sun Valley checks all the boxes.
