Built in tribute to the late, great Stevie Smith, the all new Devinci Chainsaw A 29 SX 12s Complete Mountain Bike is perfect for the rider tackling heavy duty trails at blinding speeds. Split Pivot suspension design means stays composed at those speeds, but there's no denying its capabilities. There's room to tinker with the geo adjust chip, turning the bike into a downhill dominator in the low mode and eagerly gobbling all the rubble under its 29" wheels. Engineered to last, this is an aluminum enduro bike that'll leave you wanting nothing for quite some time.
Aluminum Optimum G04 Frame – Lightweight G04 tubing is born of a tech blend of 6066-T6 aluminum combined with state of the art triple butting, high pressure hydro-forming and tapered CNC-machined headtubes. Frames built from Optimum G04 tubesets offer superior durability, incredible stiffness, and a knockout strength-to-weight ratio exclusive to Devinci bikes.
RockShox Super Deluxe Select Rear Shock – Super Deluxe Select is built for the latest breed of hard hitting enduro and trail bikes. Offering the ride control you need paired with a user-friendly threshold adjustment all rolled into a great high performance-to-value package. They even threw in Maxima Plush fluid to reduce friction and silence noise.
Large Tire Clearance – Super Boost rear spacing provides massive tire clearance at 29x2.5 for capable mud ejection plus the traction you want when trails turn slick
Geo Adjust Flip Chip – Switch between hi/lo modes to customize ride characteristics. Located at the base of the shock mount, this has less moving parts and is easier to use, especially if you're experimenting on-trail.
Coil Compatible – All Devinci full suspension bikes have a progressive leverage ratio that works well with a coil shock.
Double Row Linkage Bearings – Double-row double-lip sealed linkage bearings bring precision movement and superior longevity.
Enduro™ Bearings – Enduro™ double-lip sealed bearings for precision movement and superior longevity.
Threaded Bottom Bracket – Threaded BB for headache-free removal and easy maintenance.
Room for a Bottle – All frame sizes for at least a standard 500mL bottle with a piggyback shock.
Split Pivot Suspension – Split Pivot Suspension separates acceleration forces from braking forces for a buttery smooth ride with hyperactive small bump compliance, plus increased traction and podium-crushing pedal stroke efficiency.
Asymetric Construction – Milking the most performance out of every frame angle for improved torsional stiffness.
Carbon Bashplate
Rockshox Domain R – Domain takes cues from the enduro specialist, ZEB. Domain offers a burly 38mm chassis, short fender compatibility, and a confidence-inspiring DebonAir™ air spring. They even brought the performance of Maxima Plush damping fluid along for the ride. Nothing goes as big as Domain does in value and performance.
Fork Adjustments – Air Spring Pressure / Low Speed Compression / Rebound
SRAM SX Eagle™ – SX Eagle™ means easy, intuitive shifting every time for every rider. It's lighter, simpler, and more durable, offering value performance in a 1x drivetrain.
SRAM G2 R – The core of brake performance is consistency. Reliability. Trust. With G2 R, SRAM focused on offering a premium value without compromising the heart of the operation. This brake gives riders the G2s famed “Mini-Code” power and a whole suite of SRAM standard features at an unbeatable value.
SRAM Centerline Rotors – The CenterLine design provides a smooth, consistent, and quiet running braking surface. Rounded edges make for easier wheel installs and are UCI-compliant.
Maxxis Minion DHF Front Tire – With a tread design that deftly balances rolling speed with braking and cornering traction, it's hard to find fault with the Minion DHF. That's probably why it's one of the most imitated tires in mountain biking. Whether riding local trails, a backcountry epic, racing enduro or World Cup downhill, there's a Minion DHF spec to meet your needs.
Maxxis Minion DHR II Rear Tire – With side knobs borrowed from the legendary Minion DHF, but widened to provide more support, the DHR II corners like no other. The center tread features ramped leading edges to improve acceleration and sipes to create a smooth transition when leaning the bike. Paddle-like knobs on the center tread dig in under hard braking and help keep the bike under control. Pair it with a Minion DHF up front for the ultimate aggressive trail riding tire combo!
V2 Pro Rims with Formula Hubs – With a 36mm internal rim width, these burly rims are a perfect match for aggressive gravity tires.
