While wakeskating evolves, riders are constantly demanding more from their boards to match their progression. Hyperlite has been able to keep up with the demands by working with the top wakeskaters to design and ride their boards. The Hyperlite Model G is a top of the line wakeskate, designed by pro rider Brian Grubbs and shaper Scott Bouchard. The Model G comes in at 42" weighing 11.75 lbs, with an increased deck profile (compared to earlier models) that provides a larger, more consistent pop off all wake sizes and boosts ollie power when approaching rails and drops. The weight of the board is achieved by an internal system strategically placed so the deck's rotational axis stays true. Brian went to town when designing the top deck, pushing the concaves to their outer most points and covering the deck with pure grip tape, which allows the riders to lock into the board for greater control and feel. You don't want to miss out on the vastly improved Hyperlite's 2013 Model G.
Blended 3-Stage Rocker – Hyperlite's Blended 3-stage rocker creates explosive vertical pop. Designed to boot a rider off the wake, the Blended rocker line also generates good speed into the wake without the traditional 3-Stage drag.
Shaped by Scott "Butch" Bouchard – Hand shaped board designs by the pioneer of the 3-stage rocker
