If evo is a snowboard dating website and you're on the hunt for a new beau, then the Roxy Ally BTX Snowboard would be your compatible match. In fact, you and the Ally would be a match made in snowboard heaven. Since fate has brought you two together you should know a few things about Ally's features before committing. For example, easy-riding BTX rocker flat blend is ideal for long rides through the park because BTX improves turn initiation, adds stability and makes for a poppy ride. The Ally is also a directional twin. Directional Twins are for you if you want to ride pow, occasionally ride switch and rip the entire mountain. There is one more thing you should know about the Roxy Ally BTX Snowboard - this board doesn't like to take things slow.
BTX – Rocker between the feet with zero camber (flat) from the feet extending out to the top and tail. The snowboard's arch between the feet improves turn initiation. BTX performs just as good no matter where you ride it.
Flex Rating: 4 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) – A mild flex rating is great for progression at all levels. Forgiving in the park and playful in the powder. Even at high speeds this board will give you a predictable and precise feeling.
Directional Twin – Measures like a true twin between the contact points. The nose above the contact point is slightly higher and longer than the tail. This allows the board to float in powder or choppy snow and still feel consistent when riding switch.
155cm LN – LN, or "Less Narrow," is a slightly wider waist than your average women's board. For girls who want or need a little extra foot room. It's also great for any freestyle riders looking for a solid platform to land on.
Kind Hearted Core – A little softer, kinder FCS certified wood. Light, fast-growing, sustainable tree-farmed wood with long fibers for pop.
Biaxial – Two-way fiberglass orientation that is forgiving and fun.
5 SW – UHMW (Ultra High Molecular Weight) sidewalls made from a soy-based elastomer. Laminated with five internal layers of wood to create a durable sidewall.
CX 2500 – An extruded base that is fast and requires little maintenance.
Die-Cut Base – Base color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.
Magne-Traction™ – Strategically located serrations on your edges that create confidence building, fatigue-reducing edge hold all over the mountain especially on hard pack and ice.
Co-Ex – Good impact strength, compatible with eco-sublimation.
