Product Info

Burton Fish Rocker Snowboard 2011: A decade of power days and the Burton Fish Rocker Snowboard keeps getting fresher. Featuring Burton’s rocket-propelled WFO base and a new 164cm powder shark, the Terje and JG-designed Burton Fish Rocker Snowboard is built for speed and tapered more than any board in the line. S-Rocker™ combines with the Swallow tail to further enhance float, punch, and acceleration, while The Channel offers unlimited stance options and the ability to ride barefoot with the new EST™ ThinBED™ accessory.

Product Details

Flex

Flex Rating: 5 (1 Soft-10 Stiff) Speed and float are your friends, and that’s what S-Rocker is all about. Entry rocker extends from the nose to under your front foot, then transitions to camber between your feet. Compressing the camber under your back foot causes the entry rocker to naturally lift the nose, thus improving float while maintaining momentum and stability through deep-driving pow turns and variable conditions. Directional flex features increased pop in the tail and a more resilient nose that allows riders to easily maintain control and flow through all terrain and conditions.

Construction and Core

Stronger and lighter woods target specific areas of the core with the Super Fly II Core to provide pop, strength, and reduced weight. Further optimized for float in freeride focused boards, and strength in park boards.

Shape

Directional: the classic, most versatile snowboard shape, designed to be ridden with a slightly longer nose than tail to concentrate pop in the tail while still giving you plenty of float, flow, and control to rip any terrain or snow condition. The tapered tip and tail thickness of Pro-Tip reduces swing weight for easier mobility and float

Sidewalls, Edges and Base

The Carbon I Beam backbone increases pop and longitudinal snap. The streamlined, ultra-minimized sidewall design of Slimrail shaves weight without sacrificing edge-hold, strength, or rideability. With Dualzone EGD, the wood grain is positioned along the toe and heel edges, perpendicular to the rest of the wood core, for superior edge hold and added strength. Triax fiberglass offers versatile flex and response for everything from mini to mega shred. The sintered base is durable and highly porous which offers added durability and superior wax absorption for greater overall glide. 10:45 Sidewalls are extra meaty with dual angle geometry that results in bomber impact absorption.
