The way it works is simple. The front part of the board that initiates the turns and cuts through pow features a traditional sidewall shape. But at the board’s balance point the sidewall transitions to 10:45, this extra juicy tail takes all the abuse of off-piste riding so the rest of the board and you don’t have to.
