The Völkl V-Werks Katana Skis are 15% lighter than the original, and have a thinner profile with enhanced performance, making them the best Katanas yet. The 112 mm waist gives you superior float in soft snow while the lightweight yet strong construction, paired with a full rocker profile, allow you to charge just as hard on hardpack and crud. Be a ninja and slice up the mountain with the Völkl V-Werks Katanas.
ELP Full Rocker – Völkl Full rocker is a smooth, gradual bend from tip to tail, with matching sidecut and a symmetrical flex pattern. The Extended Low Profile (ELP) gives skiers all the benefits of extra maneuverability in soft snow while delivering smooth, sexy arcs on groomed terrain. The matching flex and sidecut on the full rocker gives you full, uninterrupted edge contact. The more the ski is on edge the more effective that edge becomes, and the resulting smoothness and predictability is uncanny.
Sensorwood Xtra-Light – Völkl's Xtra-light wood cores are created using lighter weight Paulownia wood, with channels milled out of the bottom of the core. Snappy and resilient, these high tech wood cores save weight while improving performance.
Metal-Tex Hybrid Construction – A thin layer of carbon fiber fused to Titanal metal adds torsional rigidity to the ski and reduces ski chatter while on choppy snow.
Skin Pin System – Effortless skin installation
Flat binding mounting area
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
