The queen bee of the Women's 7-Series collection, the Rossignol Star 7 Skis have been a highly coveted weapon among hard charging ladies. With a 116mm waist, Powder Turn Rocker and patented Air Tip technology, the Star 7 Skis were born for unparalleled deep-snow fun with easy to handle maneuverability. Looking to ride some groomers in between runs? These wide-waisted beauties have camber underfoot and a centered sidecut that provide impressive edgehold performance on the hardpack. Sandwhich lamination and traditional sidewalls ensure maximum durability. Show the ego-burdened boys how to really ski some pow this winter with the Rossignol Star 7 Skis.
Powder Turn Rocker – A longer, more progressively rockered tip minimizes "tip flap" in variable snow and hardpack while the tapered, more powerful tail drops into soft snow, enhancing flotation and providing effortless steering with instant speed control. Traditional camber underfoot delivers power, energy and edge grip for groomed snow performance.
Centered Sidecut – The sidecut features a unique tapering of tip and tail with a short sidecut directly underfoot. A deep radius gives edge grip and power underfoot while a short length of sidecut allows easy steering and playfulness.
Air Tip – A Patented Technology exclusive to Rossignol! The tip is air filled for maximum lightness and constructed to retain maximum torsional rigidity. The ski's weight is redistributed, freeing the tip and tail of the ski and providing greater ease, security, and versatility. The fact that the center of gravity is closer to the center of the ski concentrates strength under the skier's feet.
Light Wood (Paulownia) – Skis are 15% lighter thanks to the new Paulownia wood core, a wood with lower density but equally as strong. Combined with diagonal fibers, the new skis are even higher performing, making for easier hiking uphill, more stability downhill, greater agility, and a whole lot more fun. Fat skis have never been this accessible.
Sandwich Laminate – Wood cores with high tech laminates provide the ultimate in stability, power and durability.
Free V.A.S. – Visco elastomer material helps to smooth the rocker/camber transition, reducing "tip flap" and increasing stability, and maintaining control and snow contact in variable conditions.
Minicap Sidewall – Yes, you can have both - full sidewalls underfoot for edge grip and solid performance, cap at the tips and tails for lightness and durability.
Compatible with 7 Series Climbing Skins – Trim to Fit
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
