K2 Shuksan Telemark Skis 2008: Developed in conjunction with Swiss Guide and Pro Guiding Service owner Martin Volken as a high-performance ski mountaineering ski, the K2 Shuksan Telemark returns. Incorporating two sheets of metal, a stout flex, and versatile 16.0 sidecut, the K2 Shuksan now has an updated tip for better edge hold and quicker initiation. Light enough for mutli-day tours; its overriding quality provides high quality performance no matter how rough you play.

Titanal metal laminate gives the K2 Shuksan Ski added strength without weighing it down.
Flex
The light Triaxial Braided Aspen/Falcatta wood core uses carbon fiber reinforcements to save weight. The new XCP tip profile extends the contact point 7 cm. further toward the tip, which makes the ski initiate turns faster, and provide greater stability while being more forgiving.
