G3 Saint Skis 2012: The G3 Saint Skis’ all-mountain dimensions have proven themselves stable enough to rip through all terrain and conditions, while remaining light enough for long tours, thanks to the lightweight Paulownia/Poplar wood core. If you’re spending time on both sides of the ropes, the new Saint is a one quiver answer that can only be called a blessing.
Early Rise 1 camberline shape is G3’s basic early tip rise combined with just the right amount of camber underfoot. This is an easy initiation to the modern freeride feel of effortless floatation with a shorter running surface in firm snow and longer running surface in soft snow resulting in a more agile yet stable ski.
Classic sidecut with a close to even sidecut fore and aft for predictable and balanced arcs for those who prefer traditional ski behavior
Sidewalls are made from single density ABS/TPU to offer the best compromise of dampening and energy transfer to the ski edge.
Low mass tip geometry creates reduced tip flutter, high speed jitters and a more balanced swing weight.
CoreLight made from ultra light Paulownia and light Poplar wood for very lightweight yet durable skis
A 4 multi-axial fiberglass classic is G3’s original construction with 2 layers of multi-axial glass both above and below the wood core. This means reinforcement for loading from all directions for a more stable, solid ride. It is the dampest non-metallic construction available.
Radius ranges from 21-26m by size, 122/93/112mm (all sizes)
We recommend a brake width that is equal to the ski waist width and at most 15 mm wider.
