The Wailer 112 is a legendary ski, virtually unchanged over the years. New for the 2015 however, the DPS Wailer 112 RP.2 Ski has seen some re-design and improvement. The tip and tail rocker profile has been lowered, reducing deflection and increasing power in mixed snow. Re-shaped sidecut delivers a bigger sweet spot at a greater range of speeds thanks to Paddle Tech. The DPS Wailer 112 RP.2 Ski still lives up to the name and maintains its all-mountain chops; the Hybrid core still crushes variable conditions both inbounds and in the backcountry from Aspen to Mount Baker. We think there's a reason the Wailer 112 RP.2 is so loved, and we want you to see what the hype is about.
450 mm Rocker / Camber / 400 mm Rocker
Paddle Tech – Tapered, flatter sidecut section that blends at the contact points. It's the special ingredient that drives a uniquely smooth and intuitive sense of turn shape.
Hybrid Fiberglass + Carbon + Bamboo Construction – Hybrid skis have a damper ride thanks to the bamboo. Carbon fiber stringers and fiberglass keep the ski lively and torsionally stiff for control on firm snow.
Poplar Core with Bamboo Stringers
Full Length Carbon Stringers
Triaxial Glass
Polyamide Topsheet
Full ABS Sidewalls – Full-length vertical sidewalls from tip to tail to deliver optimized edge grip, precision, balance, and power.
Graphite World Cup Race Base – Fastest bases, because speed is good! No die-cut or colored bases that cause durability and speed issues.
Wide Profile Rockwell 48c Steel Edges
Urethane Top Edge Reinforcement and Dampening System
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
