Extended Wood Core – More forgiving than the Extended Sensorwood Core, it consists of a full-length wood core sitting beneath the Extended Double Grip chambers.
Sidewalls
Extended Double Grip – Powered by steel and created using a unique Motion iPT interface allowing Volkl engineers to further develop their signature Double Grip construction. The added height extends from tip to tail, placing more material where it’s needed-in support of the edges. Extended Double Grip offers more control and better performance.

iPT Wide Ride – Wide Ride was developed specifically for skis 80mm. The interface is 30% wider than the original iPT and the toe and heel pieces are the same design as those of the Marker Duke and Jester. The new components contribute to better performance with a more secure wrap on the boot lug, and increased directional elasticity in the heel. Get the security and hold of a wide binding with the maneuverability and weight of a narrow binding.

Carving For those that like the classic feeling of laying a ski over on edge and arcing a perfect turn, carving skis are what you want. These skis have narrower waists and shorter turn radii for edge to edge quickness and responsive turn initiation and exit on groomed runs and hard pack. The beginner-intermediate skis in this category are designed to make learning how to turn as easy as going from pizza to French fries. All-Mountain All-mountain skis are designed to handle anything you throw at them including powder, ice, groomers, steeps, heavy snow, and everything in between, but they aren’t necessarily a master of any one terrain. If you’re only going to own one ski to do it all, this is what you want. All-mountain skis generally have what we call mid-fat waists that range from 80-110 mm.
