Even through the fat-ski craze, the 95mm waist width has proven its worth over time and the K2 Pinnacle 95 Skis are certainly no exception. Incorporating K2's new Konic Technology and a NANOlite core, the Pinnacle 95 achieves high performance in a lightweight and responsive package while K2's trademark triaxial braid construction and metal laminate generate power and stability when you stand on the edges. Get sendy, all-day, everyday with the all new K2 Pinnacle 95 Skis.
All-Terrain Rocker – Designed for all ability levels, All-Terrain Rocker adds versatility and ease in all snow conditions. This profile features an elevated tip and tail for variable and soft snow performance, as well as camber underfoot for power, energy, and edgehold in firmer conditions.
Tapered Tip – A design feature that shifts the contact points with the snow toward the midsole of the ski, reducing deflection in the tip and easing turn release in the tail.
Freeride Baseline 2.0 – By designing a ski's profile (rocker and camber) to work in combination with it's overall shape (top shape and sidecut) K2's engineers are able to create skis specifically targeted for a desired type of terrain, ability level, snow condition, and even skiing style.
Forebody – Tapered, powder-focused tip for predictability in soft and variable conditions.
Midbody – Medium to wide waist widths ranging from 95 to 118 mm for float and moderate sidecut for medium to long turns.
Tail – Tapered, blunted tails for predictability when exiting turns.
Nanolite Konic Core | Aspen NANOlite – K2 Konic Technology with Nanolite is found in K2's Freeride Pinnacle collection. It is a super lightweight, low-density aerospace grade composite core that runs through the center and extremities of the ski for reduced swing weight and added ease and control. 5% reduction in weight but a 15% reduction in swing weight.
Aspen – Lightweight with a resilient, damp, easy-to-ski nature.
Metal Laminate – A metal laminate construction, denoted as "Ti" within K2's naming convention, consists of alternating layers of fiberglass and Titanal to provide damp, accurate, unshake-able performance.
Triaxial Braid – A K2-patented machine interlocks strands of fiberglass around a milled core for pronounced torsional strength, while retaining the lively flex patterns inherent in a wood ski.
Hybritech Sidewalls – Blending a sidewall construction underfoot with a full cap construction in the extremities. The sidewall section gives the ski accuracy, power and performance while the capped regions reduce overall ski weight and ease turn initiation and finish.
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
