It's here. Finally there's a tech binding that lets you rip the BC like you mean it. The Plum Guide Alpine Touring Ski Bindings are precision-CNC'd pieces of art that also attach your skis securely to your tech-compatible ski boots for both skinning and skiing. Plum bindings are made by Felisaz, a small French CNC firm near Chamonix that manufactures specialty aerospace parts. A member of a local ski club approached them with a plan to build a high quality tech binding just as Dynafit's patent on the tech system was expiring, and Plum was born. These bindings feature a super positive spring action at both toe and heel, adjustable release values from 5.5 to 12, a one-piece alloy heel plate and lifter design, and weigh a feathery 358 grams for one toe and one heelpiece, with screws.
Made of aerospace grade materials: aluminium, steel, and polyvinyl
Crampon slot
Front lock lever
Heel adjustment range of 30 mm
3 Heel riser positions on the heel piece
Heel heights change for skinning by rotating heelpiece
No ski brake is available at the present time; safety leash included.
Requires a tech (Dynafit) compatible boot with correct toe and heel fittings
Mounting pattern is identical to Dynafit Classic/Comfort/Vertical bindings
